VF-1J VF-1J HA VF-1S VF-1A YF-19 SDF-1 Phalanx Hikaru Regult Queadluun-      Rau QTVR Images Animations Games Desktops 3D Models I was contacted by comic artist Kaare Andrews to collaborate with him on a pin-up for the upcoming Robotech comic by Wildstorm - he'd do the 2D characters of Max and Myria and I'd supply the 3D models and renders of their mecha counterparts. And while I did have a decent lightwave valkyrie model, I didn't have a decent Queadluun-Rau (Myria's mecha) so over after a few days work, here it is. The back is not fully rendered but since it's for an illustration piece I don't really have to worry about it for now. And while the texturing is kinda light, I love the way it looks with that caustic global lighting (which took 3 hours to render a 1024x768 image of it).
